Six Arrested Outside EVANESCENCE Concert

April 6, 2007

According to PostStar.com, six people who police believe were selling bootleg concert t-shirts were arrested late Thursday (April 5) outside the Glens Falls Civic Center in Glens Falls, New York during the EVANESCENCE concert at the arena, police said.

The six sold unlicensed t-shirts from parking lots around the Civic Center during the concert, said Glens Falls Police Sgt. John Winchell. They were charged with the misdemeanors of trademark counterfeiting and violating a city ordinance requiring a permit to work as a vendor, he said.

Their names will be released later this morning.

Winchell said undercover city police officers, Detective Sgt. Peter Casertino and Officer Joseph Boisclair, made the arrests after complaints from the concert promoter about illicit sales.
